Main resposibilities
- Develop and propose solutions based on DevOps/Agile Practices
- Implement integrations requested by customers
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve velocity of the team
Requirements:
- + 5 years of experiencie in DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Bachelor’s degree: Computer Systems Engineering or related
- Advanced English
- Certification: SCRUM Master (Desired)
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of common Java/Javascript
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Experience with continuous integration automation tool (Jenkins)
- Experience in testing TDD or BDD with 1 or more Testing Frameworks (Mocha/Chai, Jasmine) tester or Devops
- Experience building and deploying applications on AWS
- Ability to encode and create scripts, with preference for Java scripting (NodeJS)
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform)
- Experience with container applications and container orchestration (Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes preferred)
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC processes across the SDLC: software design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, compilation and release
Soft Skills
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a high-growth environment where priorities change rapidly
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; you can set priorities and follow a timeline
- Anxious and adaptable to change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
